Losers Finals: Team SoloMid vs. Dignitas
Losers Finals: Team SoloMid vs. Dignitas
TSM dominated the match against Dignitas, setting pace of the game throughout and overcoming their traditional mid-game lull to finish strong in both games.
TSM controlled much of the game but faltered during the mid-game, failing to make use of their first Baron kill and generally exhibiting initiation problems during team fights. When they were ableto engage, they routinely had success, but a number of well-timed ults from Dignitas’ Voyboy, playing Rumble, kept Dignitas in the game despite a 5,000-gold disadvantage.
The game finally went in favor of TSM after they rallied late-game to put together two straight aces, the first finished off by TheRainMan, the second by Reginald.
TSM handled themselves well to take Dignitas 2-0 in the third place match, advancing to a rematch with Epik in the Grand Finals. Despite shaky mid-game play in Game One, the team rallied behind strong play from TheRainMan to secure an easy victory in Game Two.
Player of the match: TSM’s TheRainMan played a devastating Trundle in both games, helping his team with a field-leading 15 kills throughout the match.
