Team SoloMid vs. RFLX Gaming
Team SoloMid vs. RFLX Gaming
Unconventional play dominated the match from the beginning, as Team SoloMid took a non-standard early laning approach that affected the match throughout. Rather than putting a single player in the top lane, TSM opted instead in game one to start off with two champions in the traditionally solo lane, leaving the bottom lane to a single player. The strategy seemed to put RFLX on their back foot and gave TSM a series of early opportunities to rack up minion kills and attack from different directions.
The first game was an easy win for TSM, and despite a mid-game comeback in game two from RFLX, TSM’s Reginald was able to make use of Karthus’ global ult in a series of team fights to help push his team over the finish line and take the match in straight games.
Player of the Match: TSM’s Reginald was a dominant force in both games, leading his team in kills as LeBlanc in game one, and a constant thorn in RFLX’s side as Karthus in Game Two.
